Once upon a time, there was a man who lost an axe. He suspected that it was stolen by his neighbor's son. As he observed the boy's behavior, he found every move and expression of the boy suspicious, as if they were characteristic of a thief. The more he watched, the more certain he became that the boy was indeed stealing, even finding fault with the way the boy walked.

Later, the man discovered the lost axe buried in his backyard while searching for it. It turned out that he had simply forgotten where he left it. When he met the neighbor's son again, he found that the boy appeared completely normal, no longer resembling a thief at all.

This fable teaches us that when we harbor prejudice or suspicion, we tend to view others and their actions through tinted glasses, leading to incorrect conclusions. Only by eliminating bias and observing objectively can we truly understand things as they are.
